When I read this quote, I realized how very true it is. If you magnified a house cat to 30 times it's body weight, it would be an African lion.
The similarity of both cat and lion is remarkable. Same number of teeth, same configuration, and proportion relative to their size. They are truly one of GODS remarkable creatures.

Alice, I will definitely have to show this to my grandson. Though he is only 5 he is into wildlife, oceanlife, the planets, dinosaurs, all and I do mean all reptiles, and yes even bugs. I'm sure once he sees your post we will have to go on a journey online to discover some facts about the lion. He will be most amazed with the teeth.
They are some nice pic's of teeth huh? My kids enjoyed them too! That is so cool to know that your grandson will be inspired to find more pic's of cats and teeth! He sounds like he's a BOYS boy!

Well, we took that journey online and discovered many neat things about the lion and the house cat. But it didn't stop there no siree. Caleb actually spotted your post before that. He made me read him both post you had about your lizard invasions and then off we went online to learn more about them. I will probably dream about them crawling all over the place tonight. Uggghhhh! Oh well, he was happy.
