Camp Meeting

There was so much that was gained by going to camp meeting this year. We had an awesome time. One of the last services we went to, this story was told, I thought I would retell it today...just something that has stuck with me.

A gentlemen was given a tour of an asylum for the criminally insane. After walking through the tour, he questioned the warden, "Why are there not more guards, guarding the prisoners? If they ever got together, it wouldn't be good." The warden replied "That would never happen, lunatics never unite"

The preacher then said, We as apostolics need to band together, get together, DON'T BE A LUNATIC!

I don't want to be a lunatic off by myself and unable to band together with my fellow apostolic, unable to witness, and grow. Thank God for Godly fellowship.

How easy is it to "get" that! Simple but so powerful!

I Love Camp Meeting. This year for one of the best ones I have ever attended. Didn't get there until late for Thursday evening service, but I'm so thankful we could make it.
Love you and your family
