Moses

Sis Bernice had to put Moses to sleep yesterday. It is a very hard decision to make, but knowing that he truly is not suffering anymore gives you a great peace in your heart. One of the worst feelings in not being able to breath. Animals can not understand this, so they panic. You can not explain to them that the more they stress out the worse it becomes, so you are left with an important decision.

Bull dogs are Brachiocephelic breed of dogs. They have a shortened nose and sinus passage. For this reason it makes it very difficult if they get any kind of respiratory problem, or inflammation. I saw a bull dog that was in distress once, that had a windpipe the diameter of a straw, when it should have been about the diameter of a quarter.

I remember Moses loving to play with his water bottle. I wish Sis Bernice had sent me a picture of him with his water bottle. The first time I saw him go crazy over that bottle was several years ago, but just like children they find the package is more fun than what came in it.

I know Moses is at peace now and we all have a place in our hearts that can never be filled. I know that the Rios family and the Peavey family will miss him dearly. Rest in peace....Moses

Thanks Alice for your comments. In less you truly know that a animal is one of Gods creatures you can't understand the feeling of loseing them. When God made the animals He said this is good. How can we not believe that these awesome animals will not be part of heaven. They bring so much joy to your soul. God feels are sorrow too. Love you

Sis Bernice
I believe it too, and they touch us so deeply, maybe it's because they depend on us so much and show us unconditional love in return for a good home and love from us.

From one animal lover to another - our pets are like family, and the more attention they require, the closer they get to our hearts it seems.
